According to one independent study they sure are! Now, I should post a disclaimer that this study was done by a Reddit user who was only pulling information gathered from his study done in the comments on that website. However, he was able to get a lot of replies and the demographics of that subreddit are representative, I think, of the average NFL fan, so the results should be fairly accurate. Here's the chart...

Could the Seahawks win both OROTY and the DROTY?
For the last, oh six weeks or so, there has been much speculation as to Russell Wilson's place in the running for the award of the best offensive rookie in the NFL. Over these weeks his place and general acknowledgement has, I think, risen with each game, to the point where now many fans would vote for him over Andrew Luck or RG3 for the award. However, not until quite recently has anyone really given another Seahawks rookie a chance to win a post season award. That player, you might have guessed, is Bobby Wagner. Lets go over each of their stats and whether or not they really deserve to win.

Well that was...
disappointing. I wasn't able to see the whole game, but from what I gather and what I did get to see, here are some bullet point thoughts.

Seahawks vs Patriots: Prediction
The New England secondary is not all that good. Its not necessarily one of the worst units in the NFL, but its far from the best (Seattle). Therefore I see this fact, along with Darrell Bevell opening up the playbook for Russell Wilson, leading to the rookie having his best passing day of the year thus far. The Patriots run defense is much better than pass defense, so look for Seattle to try to exploit that.

Time for Russell Wilson to either sink or swim...
but it seems like the team has been issuing him concrete cleats.
I don't blame Wilson for last weeks loss against the Rams. I should say, I don't blame ONLY Wilson for the loss, as he is culpable as well as the rest of the offense. However I think it is ludicrous for fans and even analysts to be calling for Matt Flynn to start. Who are we now, Broncos fans? We don't ditch our starting QB for a career backup after 4 games! Especially when said rookie QB led us to two victories over tough teams! Both of our losses have come on the road, where lets face it, we stink. Maybe in week 1 Flynn would've completed one of those red zone passes for a game winning TD. We don't and will never know, because Flynn is not our starting QB. Perhaps Flynn wouldn't have thrown two of those three interceptions against the Rams by throwing a "more catchable ball" (lol). We'll never know.

Week 3: Packers @ Seahawks - Two guys predictions
On Monday, September 24th, 2012, one of the best teams from the 2011 NFL season comes marching into CenturyLink Field with a 1-1 record and a (many would argue) justified expectation that they will win their matchup with the home underdogs, the oft-forgotten Seahawks from South Alaska. Despite the fact that their record last year was 15-1, despite the fact that they have the best quarterback in the league, and despite the fact that their franchise has won 4 Superbowl Rings in 5 opportunities, the Green Bay Packers are a mere 3 point favorites over the Seahawks, who've never won a Superbowl and who have spent two years with a losing 7-9 record. After the jump I'll give you a few good reasons why the Seahawks just might pull out an upset and send the Packers to a losing record with two losses against NFC West opponents.

A lesson in humility...
Gravity... is working against me. Gravity... wants to bring me down... - John Mayer
I don't think John Mayer wrote that song about a disappointing Seattle Seahawks loss, but it sure seems relevant to me right now. Coming into this season opener against the Arizona Cardinals, I think it would be safe to say that fans' expectations of our team and especially our new starting QB were somewhere near the ionosphere, whereas now they probably more reasonably reside closer to Earth. It is apparent that "Hustle" Wilson is not going to perform like he did against the Chiefs this preseason in every game, or perhaps not even most games. Heck, he might have a repeat of this week for the next 15 weeks. I'm still convinced that he is our starting QB going forward and can/should turn into a very good NFL QB.
I'm going to break down the positions and grade them based off of what I saw, with the disclaimer that I only got to see most of the second half, as I was on a plane for the first half.
